Trio Dilectio performs a wide variety of delightful music, mainly from the 16th to 18th centuries. Formed of Kat Carson (soprano, Esin Yardimli Alves Pereira (violin) and Ricardo Alves Pereira (classical guitar), the group embraces early music masterpieces and make their own arrangements. They have made the music their own and have created a truly unique sound.
They are used to performing in varied venues, from a large classical hall to an intimate private event, they are able to create engaging performances.
Their repertory ranges in time and style, mixing high and low genres, court music and more traditional folk music. The titular tales are vignettes: from courtly romance and a dying Greek Queen to a fox, hunted for sport, to a ceremonial music for the king’s arrival.
